The First Degree
Tthe date of the First Degree has been pushed back
to Nov. 8. The Master's work for the degree will
be done by Bro. Vinny Federico, with Bro. Lou Leone doing the Senior
Deacon's work. The Second Degree will follow on
Dec. 13. Please make every effort to join us
for that important evening, and show our new brothers what a strong
lodge Smithtown is.

Annual New Years Eve Party.
We will have the party as always and tickets and info are available
From our Secretary. In other business; Saturday Nov. 4 we
will have a lodge clean up day with the primary goal of
cleaning and painting the kitchen. Bring your painting clothes along
with a pan and roller and helps us update the lodge and hall. Not
into painting? Come on down anyway, there be plenty of other projects
to help with.
VA Hospital Visit for Smithtown
Sunday Nov. 5 is our turn to assist in the service at the
Northport V. A. Hospital. We will meet at the lodge around 8:15
Sun morning and travel over to the VA. All are welcome to help with
this very rewarding
morning. Breakfast is usually available once we arrive at the hospital.
The Demolay will be holding a holiday food drive
to support local food pantries that help families in need. Please
bring in non-perishable food items and leave them in the box set
up by in the lobby of the lodge room.
New shirts for Smithtown Lodge:
We now have beautifully embroidered shirts and accessories with
the Smithtown Lodge name available for order. I hope to have the
catalog up by July 1st. A printed version as well as samples will
be available at the lodge shortly following.
Please note: Our cafepress site has reached the end as sales
are pretty much non-existent. Private orders can be taken for custom
items by contacting W.·.
